My Identity series is all about feeling alone and trying to find one’s identity. They feature a person searching for their place in the art world surrounded by others and feeling overwhelmed by pressures to label their identity and fit into molds of people in the past.
"Do you know who you are?" questions the artistic identity in a world so saturated by amazing artists and pressure from the internet to be perfect.
"Femme" explores how identifying as a woman has affected me in the real world and in the media. There are themes of feeling alone and being judged through this piece as well.
"Daydream" is a total breath of fresh air. The figure in the middle lays in a field of lavender on a sunny day. There is no one watching, the flowers embrace them, and their stance signals a sense of freedom they feel.
